Fit, Layers, and Care

Answers for hard-to-fit dogs

Straight answers for sizing, weather, recovery, and long wear

I. Fit & Sizing

Because standard dog clothing often fails on lean, athletic bodies. Deep chests, narrower waists, and longer lines create a fit problem that generic size charts do not solve well.

Yes. Dobermans are the clearest example of the problem we design around, but our pieces can also suit other deep-chested or hard-to-fit dogs when the measurements match.

Chest is the first priority, followed by neck, back length, and how much coverage you want. If your dog sits between sizes, send us the measurements and intended use so we can guide you more accurately.

That matters. We prefer calmer, easier dressing experiences over overly complicated construction. If your dog is sensitive, tell us before ordering and we can suggest simpler styles or use cases.

II. Warmth & Layering

Warmth depends on the piece and the weather, but the general goal is meaningful coverage without stiff bulk. We design for lean dogs who need warmth yet still need to move comfortably.

Think in use cases. Everyday layers are for indoor comfort or light chill, outerwear is for colder or wetter walks, and recovery pieces are for quieter, low-stress wear after treatment or rest-heavy periods.

In many cases, yes. We recommend keeping the base soft and close, then adding weather protection only when needed. If you want a layered setup, send us your climate and your dog's build before ordering.

Yes, weather protection is part of the brand direction. The focus is not fashion layering for its own sake, but practical coverage for dogs that lose heat quickly or dislike harsh conditions.

III. Recovery & Comfort

Recovery comfort refers to softer, calmer pieces that are easier to tolerate after surgery, treatment, shaving, weather exposure, or any period when a dog needs extra gentleness.

No. Our products are support layers, not medical devices. If your dog is recovering from surgery or skin issues, follow your veterinarian's instructions first and use clothing only when it supports that plan.

Tell us the procedure area, your dog's measurements, how sensitive they are to dressing, and what the vet has told you to avoid. That gives us the best chance of recommending an appropriate option.

IV. Shipping & Orders

Processing time depends on the product type and order volume. Ready products move faster, while fit-specific or custom requests may take longer. We recommend checking the product page and your confirmation email for the latest estimate.

If you contact us quickly, we will do our best to help. Once an order has moved into fulfillment or production, changes may no longer be possible.

Tracking pauses can happen during handoffs and customs stages. If movement has stalled longer than expected, contact us with your order number and we will check the shipment status for you.

Please email us promptly with your order number and clear photos. We will review the issue and work with you on the next step as quickly as possible.

V. Care & Longevity

Follow the care instructions on the product page or garment label. In general, gentler washing and air drying help preserve structure, comfort, and long-term wear.

Use the right layer for the right job, wash it gently, and avoid overusing one piece for every situation. Clothing lasts longer when the fit is correct and the use case stays aligned with the design.

All textiles settle with use, which is why good care matters. If you are buying for a still-growing dog or a dog between sizes, contact us first so we can help you choose more carefully.
